Full job description

We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Web Developer & Technical SEO Executive to join our team in Haridwar. In this dual role, you will be entirely responsible for managing, maintaining, and updating our business website, while simultaneously driving organic growth through advanced SEO strategies.

The ideal candidate must possess strong core coding skills (to handle website architecture, performance, and customization) and a proven track record of ranking websites on Google to generate high-quality travel leads.

Key Responsibilities

Website Management & Development: Oversee day-to-day website operations, update seasonal tour packages, upload multimedia content, and continuously improve user interface (UI) and user experience (UX).
Coding & Customization: Implement custom design changes, build high-converting landing pages, integrate lead-generation forms, and fix code-level errors using HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript/PHP.
Technical & On-Page SEO: Optimize website speed, ensure mobile responsiveness, fix broken links, manage site maps, and implement schema markup to achieve peak Core Web Vitals scores.
Keyword Research & Strategy: Identify high-intent travel and tourism keywords, optimize meta-data, headers, and on-page content to drive targeted organic traffic.
Local SEO Mastery: Maintain and optimize Google Business Profiles (GMB) to dominate local search results for travelers looking for regional packages in Uttarakhand.
Security & Maintenance: Conduct regular website backups, manage hosting environments, and ensure all themes, plugins, and software patches are securely updated.
Analytics & Reporting: Track, analyze, and report website performance, traffic trends, and keyword rankings using Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Search Console.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience: 2–4 years of proven experience in Web Development and Technical SEO (Prior experience working with a travel agency or hospitality business is a significant advantage).
Technical Toolkit: Proficiency in WordPress (with Elementor or similar builders) and strong foundational knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and basic JavaScript/PHP.
SEO Expertise: Deep understanding of Google search algorithms, ranking factors, and hands-on experience with SEO tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Ubersuggest.
Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret data from Google Analytics and Google Search Console to turn insights into actionable growth strategies.
Problem-Solving: A self-starter who can independently diagnose, debug, and fix website issues or search indexing errors.
