Job Description – Reservation Executive

Position: Reservation Executive
Department: Reservations / Front Office
Industry: Hotel / Hospitality
Experience: 1–3 Years
Location: [Location]

Key Responsibilities

Handle room reservation requests received through phone calls, emails, OTAs, and other booking channels.
Check room availability, rates, room types, and booking policies.
Process new reservations, modifications, cancellations, and amendments accurately.
Coordinate with Front Office, Sales, Housekeeping, and other departments for smooth room allocation.
Maintain accurate and updated reservation records in the hotel PMS.
Handle guest queries regarding room availability, rates, hotel facilities, and reservation policies.
Follow up on pending bookings, payments, confirmations, and special guest requests.
Monitor room inventory and occupancy to ensure effective availability management.
Assist in upselling rooms, packages, upgrades, and additional hotel services.
Prepare daily reservation reports and provide booking updates to the management.
Ensure all reservations are properly documented and follow the hotel's SOPs and policies.
Maintain professional communication with guests, travel agents, corporate clients, and other business partners.

Required Skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Good knowledge of hotel reservation procedures and room inventory management.
Working knowledge of Hotel PMS and MS Office.
Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
Ability to handle multiple reservations and work under pressure.
Good attention to detail and accuracy.
Professional telephone and email etiquette.

Qualification

Graduate/Diploma in Hotel Management, Hospitality, Travel & Tourism, or a related field.
Prior experience in hotel reservations, front office, or hospitality will be preferred.

Key Competencies

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
