About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and target-oriented Telecaller / Sales Executive to join our admissions counseling team.
The candidate will be responsible for calling prospective students, understanding their education requirements, explaining suitable courses/programs, following up with interested leads and converting qualified prospects into admissions.
This is a sales + counseling role, so the ideal candidate should be comfortable speaking with students and parents, handling objections and working toward monthly admission targets.
Key Responsibilities Lead Calling & Follow-ups
- Contact prospective students through phone calls and WhatsApp.
- Handle inbound and assigned admission leads.
- Understand the student's academic background, career goals and requirements.
- Maintain regular follow-ups with interested prospects.
- Keep track of leads and follow-up schedules.
Education Counseling
- Explain available UG, PG, Online, Distance and PhD programs.
- Understand student requirements and recommend relevant programs.
- Explain eligibility, admission process, fees, documentation and timelines.
- Provide accurate information and resolve basic student queries.
- Build trust with students and parents through professional communication.
Sales & Admission Conversion
- Convert qualified leads into successful applications/admissions.
- Handle sales objections related to fees, university, course, eligibility and admission process.
- Follow up consistently until the student completes the admission process.
- Achieve assigned daily, weekly and monthly sales/admission targets.
- Maintain a healthy lead-to-admission conversion ratio.
CRM & Reporting
- Update lead status and follow-up details in the CRM/system.
- Maintain accurate records of calls, conversations and conversions.
- Prepare daily/weekly sales reports when required.
- Coordinate with the internal admission/backend team for successful student onboarding.
Candidate Requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good Hindi and English communication.
- Confident and comfortable speaking on the phone.
- Strong convincing and negotiation skills.
- Sales-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving targets.
- Ability to handle rejection and maintain consistent follow-ups.
- Basic knowledge of computers, WhatsApp and CRM tools.
- Graduate in any discipline is preferred.
- Previous experience in telecalling, inside sales, education counseling, admission counseling, EdTech, BPO or telesales will be an advantage.
Freshers Can Apply
Freshers who are confident speakers, eager to learn and have a strong interest in sales are welcome.
Training will be provided regarding programs, universities, admission processes and internal systems.

Salary & Incentives
Salary: ₹12,000 - 25,000 per month + Attractive Performance Incentives
Incentives: Additional incentives based on admission/sales performance.
