Full job description

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Mid-Level Accountant to manage end-to-end accounting functions, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, statutory compliance (GST & TDS), and import-related accounting. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, compliance knowledge, and hands-on experience with financial systems.

Key Responsibilities
1. Accounts Payable (AP)
Process vendor invoices accurately and ensure timely payments Maintain vendor records and reconcile vendor statements Handle expense reimbursements and payment schedules Resolve discrepancies with suppliers and internal teams
2. Accounts Receivable (AR)
Generate customer invoices and ensure timely billing Monitor collections and follow up on outstanding receivables Reconcile customer accounts and resolve disputes Maintain aging reports and support credit control processes
3. GST Compliance
Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.) Reconcile GST data with books and portal (GSTR-2B) Ensure proper input tax credit (ITC) tracking and utilization Handle GST audits, notices, and compliance requirements
4. TDS Compliance
Deduct and deposit TDS as per applicable laws Prepare and file TDS returns (Form 24Q, 26Q, etc.) Reconcile TDS with Form 26AS Address TDS notices and discrepancies
5. Import Accounting
Account for import transactions including duties, freight, and clearing charges Coordinate with logistics and customs agents Verify import documentation (BOE, invoices, packing lists) Ensure proper cost allocation and valuation of imported goods Track advance payments and foreign currency transactions
6. General Accounting
Prepare journal entries and maintain general ledger Perform monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing activities Bank reconciliations and cash flow tracking Assist in audits (internal & statutory) Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or Commerce Master’s degree in accounting, Finance (MBA or M.COM)
Experience

1. 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience
2.Hands-on experience with AP, AR, GST, TDS, and imports
Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of Indian taxation (GST & TDS)
Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, ERP etc.)Advanced MS Excel skillsAttention to detail and problem-solving abilityGood communication and coordination skills

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
