About the Role
Webskitters Academy is seeking a passionate, industry-oriented, and highly skilled Data Analytics Trainer to join our growing academic and technology team.
The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, and Data Visualization along with the ability to mentor and guide aspiring professionals into becoming industry-ready data analysts. The role requires technical excellence, strong communication skills, and practical industry exposure to deliver engaging, hands-on, and career-focused learning experiences aligned with current industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Deliver practical and industry-oriented training sessions on Data Analytics and Business Intelligence.
2. Train students on data handling, analysis, visualization, and reporting techniques using modern analytical tools and technologies.
3. Conduct hands-on sessions on:
a. Advanced Microsoft Excel
b. SQL & Database Management
i. Python for Data Analytics
c. Power BI & Tableau
d. Data Cleaning & Data Transformation
e. Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA)
f. Dashboard Development & Reporting
4. Teach learners how to work with real-world datasets and generate actionable business insights.
5. Conduct practical sessions on data extraction, data visualization, statistical analysis, and KPI reporting.
6. Design assignments, case studies, technical assessments, mock interviews, and capstone projects.
7. Mentor students in analytical thinking, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making.
8. Monitor learner progress and provide continuous technical guidance and mentorship.
9. Upgrade curriculum content and training methodologies based on evolving industry trends and analytics technologies.
10. Collaborate with academic and placement teams to improve learner outcomes and employability standards.
Required Technical Skills
Core Competencies
1. Strong understanding of Data Analytics concepts, statistics, and business intelligence methodologies.
2. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, Lookup Functions, Charts, Dashboards, and Data Modeling.
3. Strong command over SQL for querying, data extraction, joins, subqueries, and database management.
4. Hands-on experience with Python for Data Analytics, including libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, and Seaborn.
5. Expertise in Power BI and/or Tableau for dashboard creation and business reporting.
6. Understanding of data cleaning, transformation, and visualization techniques.
7. Familiarity with real-time datasets, KPI reporting, and business analytics workflows.
8. Strong analytical, logical reasoning, and problem-solving abilities.
9. Familiarity with cloud-based analytics platforms and AI-driven analytics tools will be an added advantage.

Candidate Profile
1. 4+ years of professional experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, and/or Technical Training.

3. Ability to simplify complex analytical concepts into engaging and practical learning experiences.
4. Passion for mentoring, teaching, and professional development.
5. Prior training experience and exposure to real-world analytics projects will be highly preferred.
6. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and guide learners effectively.
