Purpose
Experienced Electrical Designer having a background and exposure of MMM/MH sector with sound design knowledge in Basic and Detailed Engineering activities. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in generating key Electrical documentation and a strong foundation in drafting, design and 3D modelling activities to lead the Design team of a medium or large size project.
The Role
As a Electrical Designer with Worley , you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience etc.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver Electrical and Instrumentation specific design and drafting services that meet Worley, the clients and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Identify design scope based on the project definition and develop list of drawing deliverables and estimates to complete the work.
- Initiate and manage design & drafting assignments for projects specific requirements as per schedule and budget.
- Perform Electrical and Instrumentation specific design and drafting services such as:
- ensure the project scope is clear, identify change & risk with design scope and any changes to scope is recorded as per project change management processes.
- interpret and interface vendor equipment and/or third-party design documents into project design.
- ensure all drawings and documents are prepared and checked in accordance with Worley drafting standard and checking procedures.
- participate in various project reviews as required .
- Undertake design and drafting assignments in line with projects requirements on time and within budget .
- Experience with Workshare delivery, communicate effectively with the GID/HO discipline teams on all discipline matters and other disciplines whilst considering design interfaces .
Establish and maintain good working relationships within the project team GID/HO.
