Job Title: Pastry Chef

Experience: 2–5 Years

Job Summary

We are seeking a creative and skilled Pastry Chef to prepare a variety of desserts, pastries, cakes, breads, and baked goods. The ideal candidate should have a passion for baking, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain high-quality standards while ensuring kitchen hygiene and food safety.

Roles and Responsibilities

Prepare and bake a wide range of pastries, cakes, cookies, breads, and desserts.
Develop new dessert recipes and seasonal menu items.
Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and quality of all baked products.
Decorate cakes and desserts according to customer requirements and company standards.
Monitor stock levels and coordinate ingredient procurement.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the pastry kitchen.
Follow food safety and sanitation regulations at all times.
Minimize food wastage and control production costs.
Train and guide junior pastry staff and kitchen assistants.
Ensure proper storage of ingredients and finished products.
Manage daily pastry production schedules to meet business requirements.
Collaborate with the kitchen team for special events and catering orders.

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of baking and pastry techniques.
Cake decoration and dessert presentation skills.
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
Creativity and attention to detail.
Time management and organizational skills.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Diploma or Certificate in Bakery & Pastry Arts, Culinary Arts, or a related field.
2–5 years of experience as a Pastry Chef, Baker, or similar role.
Experience in hotels, restaurants, cafés, bakeries, or catering services preferred.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
