Full job description

Job Duties:

Work Schedule: Must be available to work during U.S. business hours (primarily CST) and adjust schedule as necessary to support business operations and project deadlines.
Review, draft, and redline a variety of agreements, including but not limited to Contracts, Leases, Operating Agreements, and other legal documents, to ensure compliance with company policies and applicable laws and regulations.
Assist management with risk assessment and legal issue resolution relating to real estate operations and development projects.
Support leasing, financing, and development transactions from initial drafting through closing and post-closing compliance.
Draft, review, and negotiate Letters of Intent (LOIs) for commercial real estate and ensure LOIs accurately reflect key business terms including purchase price, earnest money, due diligence periods, financing contingencies, closing timelines, lease terms, and exclusivity provisions.
Analyze financing terms related to interest rates, maturity dates, covenants, collateral requirements, prepayment provisions, default remedies, and lender conditions.
Coordinate with lenders, title companies, attorneys, and internal teams during financing, refinancing, and loan closing processes.
Maintain and organize legal records, transaction files, and corporate documentation and Organize and maintain in company shared drives (Google Drive, Dropbox).
Conduct legal research and stay informed about changes in relevant laws and regulations.
Prepare legal notices, correspondence, summaries, and compliance reports.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local real estate regulations and company policies.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or Master of Laws (LLM) degree from a recognized institution.
3-5 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in contract drafting, review, and negotiation in a corporate or Real estate domain.
Strong understanding of US contract law and legal principles.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Proven ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
