About the Role

We are looking for a Catering & Event Operations Manager to manage the execution of our catering events.

You will receive the event order from our management team and be responsible for making sure everything is prepared, transported, set up, executed, and packed up smoothly.

This is a hands-on role for someone who is organised, responsible, and comfortable working at events and managing a team.

What You Will Do

Review the catering order and plan everything required for the event.
Coordinate with the kitchen/production team to ensure the menu is prepared on time.
Prepare checklists for ingredients, machines, equipment, packaging, and other event requirements.
Organise and supervise packing and loading at the warehouse.
Travel to the event venue with the team and equipment.
Set up machines, counters, equipment, and the catering station at the venue.
Coordinate with the venue/event team and ensure setup is completed on time.
Manage and supervise the catering staff during the event.
Ensure food is served correctly, on time, and according to company standards.
Ensure the event area remains clean and organised.
Troubleshoot and solve any problems that come up during the event.
Supervise pack-up after the event and make sure nothing is left behind.
Return all equipment and supplies to the warehouse.
Ensure machines and equipment are properly cleaned and sanitised after every event.
Unload and organise everything back at the warehouse.
Report any missing, damaged, or faulty equipment.
Ensure the event is fully closed out before leaving.

What We Are Looking For

2+ years of experience in catering, hospitality, events, restaurant operations, or a similar role.
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
Ability to manage and coordinate a team.
Comfortable working at event venues and handling last-minute situations.
Strong attention to detail.
Responsible and reliable.
Able to work independently without constant supervision.
Comfortable working evenings, weekends, and holidays when required.
Willing to travel to different event venues.
Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene.
Basic knowledge of Google Sheets/Excel and WhatsApp.

The Ideal Candidate

You should be someone who can take an event order and think through everything needed to make the event successful.

You are expected to take ownership of the entire process:

Order → Preparation → Packing → Transport → Setup → Event → Pack-up → Warehouse → Cleaning check

We are looking for someone who is hands-on, organised, proactive, and good at managing people and solving problems.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
