Job SummaryWe are looking for a dynamic Sales & Service Engineer with 0-2 years of experience to manage the full lifecycle of analytical and testing instruments—from identifying new sales opportunities to performing on-site technical support. You will serve as the primary technical point of contact for pharmaceutical clients, ensuring their lab equipment operates at peak performance while driving business growth.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales Excellence:
- Lead Generation: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within pharmaceutical Microbiology, R&D , Production and QC labs.
- Technical Consultations: Conduct product demonstrations and deliver technical presentations to lab managers and scientists.
- Relationship Management: Maintain strong rapport with existing clients to ensure repeat business and service contract renewals.
- Commercial Negotiation: Prepare quotations, technical proposals, and handle commercial negotiations for order closure.
Technical Service:
- Installation & Commissioning: Perform on-site installation and startup of analytical instruments like microbial air samplers, Colony counter, Viscometer, Production equipment, Decontamination services.
- Preventive Maintenance (PM): Conduct scheduled inspections and calibrations to ensure equipment reliability.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical or software issues promptly to minimize customer downtime.
- User Training: Provide technical training to customer chemists on operating equipment and software.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Instrumentation, Electronics, or Biomedical Engineering.
- Industry Knowledge: Proven expertise in analytical instruments (e.g., Microbial air samplers, HPLC, pH meters, balances) and familiarity with pharmaceutical standards like IQ/OQ/PQ.
- Regulatory Awareness: Basic understanding of cGMP, FDA, and GLP environments.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication (English/local language) and a "customer-first" problem-solving mindset.
- Mobility: Willingness to travel extensively for field service and sales visits.
