Job Title: Economics Faculty / Senior Economics Lecturer
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Economics Faculty member to teach students at intermediate, degree, coaching, or competitive exam levels. The candidate should have strong subject knowledge, excellent teaching skills, and the ability to simplify economic concepts for students. The ideal candidate must have experience in curriculum planning, classroom management, and student mentoring.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Economics subjects effectively using interactive teaching methods.
- Prepare lesson plans, study materials, assignments, and question papers.
- Explain microeconomics, macroeconomics, statistics, Indian economy, and related concepts clearly.
- Conduct classroom lectures, doubt-clearing sessions, and revision classes.
- Evaluate student performance through tests, assignments, and assessments.
- Guide students for board exams, university exams, or competitive exams.
- Maintain student attendance, academic records, and progress reports.
- Stay updated with current economic trends and syllabus changes.
- Participate in academic meetings, workshops, and faculty development programs.
- Support students through mentoring and academic counseling.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Economics (M.A. Economics) is mandatory.
- NET/SET qualification is preferred.
- Ph.D. in Economics is an added advantage.
- Minimum 6–10 years of teaching experience (depending on institution requirements).
Required Skills
- Strong conceptual knowledge of Economics.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to engage and motivate students.
- Good classroom management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and online teaching platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Experience
- Experience teaching Intermediate, Degree, CBSE, ICSE, UPSC, APPSC, SSC, Banking, or other competitive exam aspirants.
- Experience in online and offline teaching.
- Bilingual teaching ability (English & regional language) is an advantage.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
