Hiring: OT Technician

Position: OT Technician
Department: Operation Theatre (OT)
Experience: Minimum 3 Years

Job Responsibilities

Prepare the Operation Theatre before scheduled surgeries and procedures.
Ensure all surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies are available and ready for use.
Assist surgeons, anesthetists, and OT staff during surgical procedures.
Handle and maintain surgical instruments and OT equipment properly.
Perform proper cleaning, disinfection, sterilization, and maintenance of instruments as per hospital protocols.
Maintain strict infection control and aseptic techniques inside the OT.
Check OT equipment and ensure it is functioning properly before procedures.
Maintain proper inventory of surgical consumables, instruments, and other OT supplies.
Assist with patient positioning and preparation as required during procedures.
Follow all hospital safety protocols and standard operating procedures.
Maintain OT registers, records, and documentation.
Coordinate with nursing, housekeeping, CSSD, and other departments for smooth OT functioning.
Ensure the OT is properly prepared and maintained before and after every procedure.

Candidate Requirements

Minimum 3 years of relevant experience as an OT Technician.
OT Technician course/certification or relevant qualification.
Good knowledge of surgical instruments, OT procedures, sterilization, and infection control.
Ability to work efficiently in emergency and high-pressure situations.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Responsible, disciplined, and detail-oriented.
