Full job description

Key Responsibilities:

Product Inspections: Conduct inspections on camshafts at various stages of production, including after CNC, VMC, HMC, Induction Hardening, and Grinding processes.
Measuring & Testing: Use precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and other instruments to verify the accuracy of dimensions and tolerances.
Quality Assurance: Monitor and ensure that all camshafts meet the specified quality standards outlined in drawings, control plans, and customer requirements.
Defect Identification: Detect any defects, deviations, or non-conformities in the products and immediately report them to the supervisor.
Document Control: Maintain accurate inspection records, including measurements, defects, corrective actions, and production data.
Collaboration: Work closely with the production team to address quality issues and ensure smooth production flow. Participate in daily meetings to discuss quality issues, process improvements, and corrective actions.
Support Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and contribute to initiatives that enhance quality, reduce defects, and increase efficiency.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with all internal and external quality standards, safety regulations, and environmental policies.
Root Cause Analysis: Investigate the root causes of quality issues and collaborate with the team to implement effective corrective actions.
Reporting: Provide regular updates to supervisors regarding product quality, including the number of non-conformities, inspection findings, and quality improvements.

Qualification: 12th, ITI, or Diploma

Experience: 1–3 years of experience in a quality control role, preferably in an automotive, precision manufacturing, or camshaft production environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹14,000.00 per month
