About the Role
We’re hiring an experienced SEO & WordPress Specialist to take ownership of our company websites, improve search engine visibility, and ensure top performance across all web assets. This role combines technical and content-driven SEO with day-to-day WordPress management.
You’ll play a key role in driving organic growth, updating and maintaining sites, and working with our design and marketing teams to deliver fast, clean, and SEO-optimized pages.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and update WordPress websites (content, themes, plugins, site structure)
- Execute on-page SEO improvements: metadata, internal linking, heading structure, schema markup
- Perform technical SEO audits and resolve issues related to performance, crawlability, mobile responsiveness, and page speed
- Optimize blog posts and landing pages for keywords and readability
- Monitor and improve Google Search Console, Core Web Vitals, and keyword rankings
- Coordinate with designers for web banners, layout fixes, and responsive adjustments
- Ensure regular site backups, plugin updates, and uptime monitoring
- Track performance using Google Analytics (GA4), Search Console, and SEO tools like SEMrush or Ahrefs
Requirements
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience managing WordPress websites
- Strong understanding of on-page SEO, technical SEO, and SEO best practices
- Familiarity with key plugins like Yoast SEO, Elementor, WP Rocket, UpdraftPlus, etc.
- Good grasp of HTML, CSS, and basic troubleshooting within the WordPress ecosystem
- Experience with Google Search Console, GA4, and performance tools like PageSpeed Insights or GTmetrix
- Comfortable working independently and managing multiple sites or brands
- Strong written English and content editing ability
Nice to Have
- Experience with Google Ads, basic design tools (Canva/Figma), or email marketing platforms
- Familiarity with DNS, hosting panels, and staging environments
- Understanding of local SEO and business listing optimization (GMB)
