Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Banquet Chef to lead and manage our banquet kitchen operations.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, preparing, and executing high-quality food for weddings, corporate events, and social functions while maintaining the highest standards of presentation, hygiene, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute banquet menus for events of varying scales and themes
- Ensure consistent quality, taste, and presentation of all dishes
- Manage kitchen operations during large-scale events and functions
- Coordinate with Sales, Events, and Service teams for seamless execution
- Maintain food cost control, portioning, and wastage management
- Supervise, train, and motivate the banquet kitchen team
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards
- Innovate and introduce new menu concepts, live counters, and themed cuisines
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Banquet Chef in a reputed hotel.
- Strong knowledge of multi-cuisine (Indian & International) banquet production
- Experience handling large-scale events (weddings, MICE, social functions)
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments

Qualifications

Culinary degree or equivalent professional training
Experience in luxury or upscale hospitality brands
Knowledge of sustainable and modern culinary trends
