We are looking for a skilled and motivated Linux System Administrator to join our Jaipur team and manage enterprise Linux environments, cloud infrastructure, virtualization platforms, and hosting services.
Job Summary:
The Linux System Administrator will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, monitoring, and security of Linux-based servers and hosting infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have strong troubleshooting skills and hands-on experience with Linux server administration, web hosting technologies, virtualization, and networking.
Freshers with strong Linux fundamentals, relevant certifications, internships, or hands-on project experience are also encouraged to apply.
Key ResponsibilitiesLinux Server Administration:
- Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers (CentOS, AlmaLinux, Rocky Linux, Ubuntu, Debian).
- Monitor server performance, availability, and resource utilization.
- Perform regular updates, patch management, and system maintenance.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
- Configure and maintain SSH, FTP, DNS, Mail, and Web services.
- Troubleshoot server, application, and operating system issues.
Hosting & Control Panel Management:
- Manage and maintain cPanel/WHM, Plesk, and DirectAdmin environments.
- Create and manage hosting accounts, domains, email accounts, and databases.
- Troubleshoot website hosting, DNS, email delivery, and server-related issues.
- Perform website migrations and server migrations.
Cloud & Virtualization:
- Deploy and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or similar platforms.
- Manage VPS and dedicated server environments.
- Work with virtualization technologies such as KVM, VMware, Proxmox, and Hyper-V.
- Monitor cloud resources and optimize performance.
Security & Backup Management:
- Implement server hardening and security best practices.
- Configure and manage firewalls, Fail2Ban, CSF, and intrusion prevention systems.
- Monitor server logs and investigate security incidents.
- Manage backup solutions and disaster recovery processes.
- Conduct routine security audits and vulnerability assessments.
Network Administration:
- Troubleshoot networking issues involving TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and routing.
- Configure and maintain network services and connectivity.
- Work closely with infrastructure and support teams to ensure high availability.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Linux Server Administration.
- Knowledge of CentOS, AlmaLinux, Rocky Linux, Ubuntu, or Debian.
- Understanding of cPanel/WHM, Plesk, or other hosting control panels.
- Knowledge of Apache, Nginx, MySQL/MariaDB, PHP, and DNS services.
- Good understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and networking concepts.
- Familiarity with virtualization platforms such as VMware, Proxmox, KVM, or Hyper-V.
- Basic knowledge of shell scripting (Bash) and automation tools.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Good communication and documentation abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- RHCSA, RHCE, Linux+, CCNA, AWS, or equivalent certifications will be an added advantage.
- Experience working in a Data Center, Hosting Company, Cloud Provider, or Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment is preferred.

Work Schedule:
- 6 Days Working
- Rotational Shifts
- Weekly Off on a Rotational Basis
- Candidates should be comfortable working in Day, Evening, and Night Shifts.
- Availability for emergency support and maintenance activities when required.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
