The Learning Content Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering high‑impact learning content adapted for both digital and face-to-face delivery. The role owns the full content production lifecycle—from needs clarification and concepting, through prototyping and media production, to publishing and testing in the LMS/LXP. This role combines instructional design and hands‑on media production, and technical fluency with strong collaboration and stakeholder skills. Leveraging AI‑assisted content creation, data‑driven optimization, and modern UX to create engaging, accessible, and scalable learning experiences that support business performance.
The Learning Content Developer designs and builds e‑learning modules, videos, animations, simulations, and ILT/VILT materials for a variety of audiences and topics. They translate business needs and performance gaps into effective learning solutions that follow evidence‑based learning principles and reflect our brand, culture, and ways of working. They manage the end‑to‑end content development process, including analysis, prototyping, production, quality assurance, and deployment. They use AI and modern tools to accelerate and enhance content creation while maintaining high quality standards and ethical use of data and technology. The role collaborates closely with SMEs, and other stakeholders. It requires comfort with digital platforms, working with learning data and analytics, and staying current with learning technologies.

Analyze training needs and define clear learning and performance objectives.

Design learning solutions (e‑learning, Video, Animation, ILT/VILT) using learning science and adult learning principles.

Develop e‑learning modules with an authoring tool, including interactivity, scenarios, and assessments.

Produce and edit videos, audio, screen‑captures, graphics, and captions.

Create slide decks, participant materials, and job aids.

Package, upload, and test content in the LXP and check tracking and reporting.

Use AI tools to support writing, summarizing, question creation, etc.

Use learner feedback and basic learning data to improve content.

Work closely with SMEs and stakeholders, manage reviews and approvals.

Support the Global Masters Competition

Instructional design: clear learning objectives, basic learning science, practical and scenario‑based activities, good assessment design.

Content creation: strong writing and storyboarding, clear and simple language, good visual sense , creation of ILT/VILT materials and job aids.

Media production: good skills in at least one e‑learning authoring tool (e.g. Articulate and Evolve) and skills in video/audio editing tools.

Collaboration and project skills: strong communication, ability to simplify complex topics, experience working with SMEs, planning and organizing work, managing timelines and feedback rounds.

Future‑focused skills (AI & data): practical use of AI tools for content creation. Curiosity about new learning technologies.

Degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Digital Media, Communication, or similar; or equivalent practical experience.

Technical understanding and knowledge.

Construction Equipment specific technical understanding advantageous.

Proven examples of e‑learning, video/animation, and ILT/VILT materials developed from concept to delivery.

Experience working with subject matter experts and business stakeholders, ideally in an international environment.

Experience with common authoring and media tools.

Initial experience with AI‑assisted content creation and/or learning analytics, and motivation to develop further in these areas.
