- Define roles, responsibilities, and performance targets for all team members
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide mentorship and coaching
- Resolve inter-team conflicts and maintain a collaborative, productive site culture
- Manage relationships with architects, consultants, vendors, and government bodies
Billing, Contracts & Financial Management
- Prepare and manage project budgets, cost estimates, and financial forecasts
- Handle all aspects of project billing — including raising invoices, tracking receivables, and following up on payments
- Review, negotiate, and manage subcontractor and vendor contracts, purchase orders, and work orders
- Verify and approve contractor bills, material invoices, and labour cost statements
- Prepare monthly cost-to-complete reports and present financial status to leadership
- Manage change orders and variation claims, ensuring accurate documentation and approvals
- Track project cash flows and flag deviations from budget with corrective action plans
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle
- Present project progress, financial reports, and status updates to clients and senior management
- Manage client expectations and ensure satisfaction at every milestone
- Coordinate with government authorities, statutory bodies, and third-party inspectors for approvals and certifications
Quality & Documentation
- Implement and enforce quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) protocols on-site
- Maintain thorough project documentation including daily logs, RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, and closeout reports
- Oversee final handover process including snag lists, as-built drawings, and defect liability management
