Job Description: Team Lead – Travel Sales and Operations

About the Company BizareXpedition is a growing travel and tourism company based in Haridwar, specializing in curating memorable travel experiences, tour packages, and pilgrimage/adventure trips across India. We are looking for a dynamic and driven Team Lead – Travel Sales and Operations to lead our on-ground sales team and streamline day-to-day travel operations.

Role Overview

The Team Lead – Travel Sales and Operations will be responsible for managing a team of sales executives, driving revenue through effective sales strategies, and ensuring smooth endto-end operational execution of tour packages and travel bookings. This role requires a balance of leadership, customer service, and operational coordination skills.

Key Responsibilities
Sales Management

Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of travel sales executives to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Develop and implement sales strategies to increase bookings for domestic and international tour packages.
Handle client inquiries, negotiate packages, and close high-value bookings.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, travel agents, and repeat customers. Monitor team performance, conduct regular reviews, and provide coaching for improvement.

Operations Management Coordinate with hotels, transport vendors, tour guides, and other service providers to ensure seamless trip execution. Itinerary planning and ensure all bookings (transport, accommodation, permits) are confirmed on time. Resolve on-ground operational issues, cancellations, or customer complaints promptly and professionally. Maintain accurate records of bookings, vendor payments, and customer documentation. Ensure compliance with travel regulations and company policies. Team & Reporting Assign daily tasks and targets to sales and operations staff. Prepare and present sales/operations reports to management on a regular basis. Train new team members on company processes, CRM tools, and customer handling. Act as the key point of contact between the sales team, operations team, and senior management. Required Skills & Qualifications Graduate in any discipline (preferred: Tourism, Hospitality, or Business Management). Minimum 2–4 years of experience in travel sales, tour operations, or a related field. Prior experience in a team lead or supervisory role preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills (English). Good negotiation and customer handling skills. Basic computer proficiency (MS Excel, Word, email, travel booking software/CRM). Ability to multitask and work under pressure during peak travel seasons. Knowledge of local Haridwar/Uttarakhand tourism circuits is an added advantage. Willingness to travel occasionally for site visits or client meetings. Passion for the travel and tourism industry.
