Job Title: Optometrist

Job Description:
As an Optometrist at Manipal Hospitals, you will be responsible for providing high-quality vision care to patients. Your role will include performing eye examinations, diagnosing visual problems, prescribing corrective lenses and treatments, and educating patients on eye health. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Additionally, you will keep accurate records of patient histories and treatments.

Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough eye examinations to assess vision and diagnose various eye conditions.
Prescribe corrective lenses and vision therapy as needed.
Provide pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing eye surgery.
Educate patients about proper eye care and the use of prescribed eyewear.
Maintain detailed and accurate patient records.
Provide referrals to ophthalmologists or other specialists when necessary.
Keep up-to-date with advancements in the field of optometry and incorporate them into practice.

Skills Required:

Strong understanding of optometric principles and practices.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients.
Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
