About the Role
Plex Group is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications while providing technical leadership to the development team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in modern software development, system architecture, API integrations, cloud deployment, and application optimization.
This role is ideal for a hands-on developer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, mentoring junior developers, and contributing to innovative products across FinTech, Payment Gateway, ERP, CRM, HRMS, and Quick Commerce platforms.
Key Responsibilities Software Development
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications.
- Build secure, reusable, and high-performance backend services and APIs.
- Develop responsive frontend interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices.
Technical Leadership
- Mentor and guide junior software engineers.
- Conduct code reviews and maintain coding standards.
- Assist in solution architecture and technical decision-making.
- Collaborate with QA, UI/UX, Product, and DevOps teams for successful project delivery.
- Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and technical discussions.
Enterprise Application Development
- Develop and enhance ERP, CRM, HRMS, Payment Gateway, and internal business applications.
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.
- Work on authentication, payment integrations, notifications, and reporting modules.
- Support cloud deployment and production releases.
Quality & Performance
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
- Improve database performance and application efficiency.
- Ensure application security and compliance with secure coding practices.
- Maintain version control and deployment documentation.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, MCA, B.Tech, or equivalent.
- 4–6 years of professional software development experience.
- Proven experience in developing enterprise-level web applications.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and lead technical initiatives.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Knowledge of Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Experience with scalable and secure application architecture.
