Full job description

Accounting & Bookkeeping

Assist in maintaining day-to-day accounting records and accurate bookkeeping.
Process and record routine journal entries, receipts, payments, and daily transactions.
Support the finance team in managing Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP).
Help maintain and update the General Ledger under supervision.

Financial Reporting

Assist senior accountants in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Compile data required for generating executive MIS reports.
Support the preparation of Profit & Loss Statements and Balance Sheets.

Taxation & Statutory Compliance

Compile and verify data for timely GST and TDS return filings.
Assist in the basic calculation and deduction of TDS.
Maintain and organize up-to-date statutory records and documentation.
Provide support during audits by coordinating with Chartered Accountants and retrieving requested documents.

Bank & Account Reconciliation

Perform routine daily and monthly bank reconciliations.
Assist in reconciling vendor ledgers to ensure accuracy.
Verify invoices, payment vouchers, and supporting financial documents before processing.
Identify basic accounting discrepancies and report them to senior staff for prompt resolution.

Documentation & Coordination

Maintain highly organized physical and digital records of invoices, vouchers, purchase orders, and other financial documents.
Ensure proper filing systems are strictly followed to maintain audit readiness.
Actively support internal and external audit processes through efficient document retrieval.

Software Proficiency

Accounting Software: Working knowledge of Tally Prime / Tally ERP.
Spreadsheets: Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills.

Candidate Requirements

Education: Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com).
Experience: 0–5 years of relevant experience in an accounting or finance support role. Freshers are welcome and highly encouraged to apply.
Industry Preference (For Experienced Applicants): Prior exposure to Construction, Infrastructure, EPC, Manufacturing, Real Estate, or Industrial Projects is a strong advantage.
Work Style: Detail-oriented, organized, and a strong team player who can follow instructions effectively and thrive in a fast-paced Head Office environment.
