Full job description

Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled Instrumentation Engineer with hands-on expertise in installation, commissioning, and maintenance of autoclave (Parker) tubing systems and associated hydraulic systems. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-pressure tubing installations are executed safely, accurately, and in compliance with engineering specifications and industry standards.

Autoclave / High-Pressure Tubing Installation

Install and commission low, medium, and high-pressure autoclave/Parker/Spirstar/Butech or equivalent tubing systems.
Perform coning, threading, and bending of tubing across various sizes and pressure ratings.
Execute accurate tubing routing and mapping, ensuring correct selection and installation of fittings.
Ensure all tubing installations comply with engineering drawings, P&IDs, and project specifications.

Hydraulic System Installation & Maintenance

Install hydraulic systems including pumps, valves, actuators, accumulators, and control systems.
Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of hydraulic systems used in drilling rigs, production facilities, and related equipment.
Conduct pressure testing, flushing, and system performance checks.
Assemble, dismantle, and overhaul hydraulic components and systems as required.

Troubleshooting & Diagnostics

Diagnose faults in hydraulic and tubing systems and perform repairs to minimize downtime.
Identify and rectify hydraulic oil leaks promptly to prevent hazards and equipment damage.
Interpret hydraulic schematics, isometrics, and technical manuals for accurate execution.

Quality & Compliance

Ensure all systems meet operational, safety, and quality standards.
Maintain strict adherence to HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) guidelines and ensure proper use of PPE.
Verify installation quality through inspections and testing procedures.

Documentation & Coordination

Maintain detailed maintenance records, service reports, and inspection logs.
Monitor and manage inventory of hydraulic components, tubing, and consumables.
Coordinate with engineering, operations, and client teams for smooth project execution.

Required Skills & Competencies

Strong hands-on experience in autoclave/Parker tubing installation.
Proficiency in tube preparation techniques: coning, threading, bending.
Solid understanding of high-pressure hydraulic systems.
Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, GA drawings, and hydraulic schematics.
Knowledge of pressure testing standards and procedures.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Commitment to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s/Diploma in Instrumentation / Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Certification/training in high-pressure tubing (Autoclave/Parker) is preferred.
Relevant experience in oil & gas, drilling, or industrial hydraulic systems.

Preferred Experience

Experience in offshore/onshore oil & gas projects.
Familiarity with high-pressure systems (up to 60,000 PSI or above).
Exposure to commissioning and shutdown activities.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
