Full job description

Production / Operations Management:

Oversee and manage the entire production/operations process, including planning, scheduling, and execution.

Ensure production targets are met in terms of quality, quantity, and timelines.

Implement and monitor production KPIs and take corrective actions as necessary.

Operational Efficiency:

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and optimize resource utilization.

Maintain and enhance the operational capability of machinery and equipment.

Manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished products to ensure a smooth production flow.

Quality Assurance:

Ensure compliance with all quality standards and regulations.

Develop and enforce quality control procedures and standards.

Address and resolve any quality issues that arise during production.

Safety and Compliance:

Implement and enforce safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.

Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and industry standards.

Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions.

Team Leadership:

Lead, mentor, and develop the production team, including supervisors and nonmanagement staff.

Foster a culture of teamwork, continuous improvement, and professional growth.

Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.

Budget Management:

Develop and manage the production budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and financial control.

Monitor and control operational expenditures to stay within budgetary constraints.

Reporting and Communication:

Present regular reports on production performance, issues, and improvements to senior management.

Coordinate with other departments (e.g., supply chain, maintenance, R&D) to ensure alignment and support for production goals.
