Full job description

Responsible for managing purchase requisitions, purchase orders, inventory control, material inward and outward movements, stock records, and coordination with suppliers and internal departments to ensure smooth store and procurement operations.

Key ResponsibilitiesPurchase Requisition (PR) Management

Receive and review purchase requisitions from departments.
Verify material requirements and stock availability.
Obtain necessary approvals for purchase requests.
Maintain records of all PRs.

Purchase Order (PO) Management

Prepare and issue purchase orders to approved vendors.
Follow up with suppliers regarding delivery schedules.
Compare quotations and support vendor selection.
Maintain PO records and track order status.

Store Inward Control

Receive incoming materials and verify quantity and quality against PO and delivery challans.
Prepare Goods Receipt Notes (GRN).
Update inventory records in ERP/software or registers.
Report shortages, damages, or discrepancies.

Store Outward Control

Issue materials based on authorized requisitions.
Maintain material issue records and stock movement registers.
Ensure proper documentation for all outward transactions.
Monitor and control material consumption.

Inventory Management

Maintain accurate stock levels.
Conduct periodic stock verification and audits.
Reconcile physical stock with system records.
Identify slow-moving and non-moving inventory.

Documentation & Reporting

Maintain PR, PO, GRN, inward and outward registers.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.
Ensure all store documents are properly filed and accessible.
Support internal and external audits.

Required Skills

Knowledge of Purchase Requisition (PR) and Purchase Order (PO) processes.
Inventory and warehouse management knowledge.
Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Tally, etc.).
Good communication and coordination skills.
Strong attention to detail and record-keeping.

Qualification

Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field.
1–5 years of experience in stores, inventory, or procurement operations.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Stock accuracy.
Timely PO processing.
Inventory turnover.
Material availability.
Documentation accuracy.
Reduction in stock discrepancies.

Pay: ₹10,941.95 - ₹18,000.00 per month
