Full job description

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Counselor to provide emotional, psychological, and behavioral support to individuals facing personal challenges. The Counselor will work with clients to develop coping strategies, improve mental health, and reach their personal, academic, or professional goals. This role requires active listening, empathy, and a strong understanding of psychological principles.

counselling for higher class students (Above 8th Grade)

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct individual or group counseling sessions to assess and address clients’ needs.

Develop personalized treatment or action plans.

Provide crisis intervention and support as needed.

Help clients develop effective coping strategies and problem-solving skills.

Maintain accurate and confidential client records.

Campus visits

Monitor client progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as necessary.

Collaborate with other professionals (e.g., teachers, social workers, doctors) to support client well-being.

Stay current with best practices and legal regulations in counseling.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field (Master’s preferred).

State licensure or certification (as required by job setting).

Proven experience in counseling or a related field.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong ethical standards and ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.

Empathetic, nonjudgmental, and supportive demeanor.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with specific populations (e.g., adolescents, trauma survivors, substance abuse clients).

Knowledge of cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, or other counseling techniques.

Proficiency in case management systems or electronic health records (EHR).

Pay: ₹11,598.31 - ₹50,000.00 per month
