Job Description:
Schneider Electric is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Specialist, Project Management to support the delivery of strategic global transformation initiatives across People Operations.
This role will partner closely with the Global Project Director and functional teams to lead and coordinate high-impact projects that drive operational excellence, standardization, governance, digital transformation, and employee experience improvements across a complex global environment spanning more than 100 countries.
The successful candidate will operate as an individual contributor, leading projects independently while influencing cross-functional stakeholders across multiple regions, functions, and levels of the organization. This role requires strong project management capabilities, business acumen, advanced analytics skills, and a proactive approach to risk management and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership & Delivery

Lead and manage global People Operations transformation initiatives from initiation through implementation with the regions/functions.

Drive project planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting to ensure delivery against agreed timelines and objectives.

Coordinate activities across diverse stakeholder groups, including HR leaders, functional experts, vendors, and project teams.

Manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing competing priorities and project interdependencies.

Establish clear governance structures, project plans, milestones, and success metrics.
Transformation & Process Improvement
-
Support the design and implementation of global transformation initiatives aligned with the People Operations strategy.

Analyze existing operating models, processes, and organizational capabilities to identify improvement opportunities.

Develop recommendations and implementation roadmaps to improve operational effectiveness, compliance, and employee experience.

Contribute to projects involving process harmonization, governance, standardization, and digital transformation.
Stakeholder Management & Communication

Build strong relationships with stakeholders across functions, geographies, and organizational levels.

Influence without direct authority to align stakeholders and drive project outcomes.

Prepare executive-ready presentations, reports, and recommendations for senior HR leadership.

Facilitate project discussions, workshops, and decision-making forums.
Risk Management & Change Enablement

Identify project risks, dependencies, and potential roadblocks proactively.

Develop mitigation plans and drive resolution activities before risks impact project delivery.

Support change management and communication activities to ensure successful adoption of project outcomes.

Escalate issues appropriately while proposing practical solutions and alternatives.
Data Analytics & Reporting

Leverage data and analytics to support decision-making and project recommendations.

Develop meaningful dashboards, reports, and insights for leadership.

Utilize advanced Excel and presentation tools to synthesize complex information into actionable insights.

Apply AI-enabled productivity tools, including Microsoft Copilot, to improve efficiency, quality, and speed of deliverables.

(External) English Qualifications:
Required
-
Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Management, Engineering, or a related field.

8-12 years of professional experience in project management, transformation, operations, consulting, HR transformation, or related disciplines.

Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional transformation or process improvement initiatives.
-
Experience managing complex projects involving multiple stakeholders across regions and functions.
-
Strong analytical capabilities with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to develop executive-level presentations and recommendations.

Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision and deliver results in complex environments.

Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.

High standard & project management discipline
Preferred

Experience supporting HR, People Operations, Shared Services, or global business transformation initiatives.

Certification in Project Management (PMP, Prince2, Agile, or equivalent).

Experience working in a multinational environment.

Demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft Copilot and AI-enabled productivity solutions.
