Full job description

We, Madhyamam are a leading newspaper organization committed to delivering accurate, timely, and impactful news. We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Executive / Trainee to join our finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain day-to-day accounts and financial records.
Handle accounts payable/receivable, invoices, and bank reconciliations.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Assist in audits, taxation, and statutory compliance (GST, TDS, etc.).
Support payroll processing and other finance-related activities.
Coordinate with internal teams and external auditors.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
Proven experience as an Accounts Executive or in a similar role.
Knowledge of GCC accounting practices, VAT regulations, and GCC tax laws would be an added advantage.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and statutory compliances.
Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., Tally/ ERP).
Good communication and organizational skills.
Attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
