Job Title: Business Analyst
About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Business Analyst to join our product team. You will serve as the key link between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring product decisions are driven by user needs, operational data, and strategic goals. You will play a critical role in shaping product features, streamlining processes, managing customer solution sign-offs, and ensuring comprehensive documentation throughout the product and implementation lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Requirements & Analysis
· Gather, document, and analyse business requirements from stakeholders across the organisation
· Translate business needs into clear functional specifications, work items, and acceptance criteria
· Conduct gap analysis and process mapping to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities
· Facilitate workshops and structured meetings to elicit, validate, and prioritise requirements
· Monitor product performance using data and metrics, and provide actionable recommendations
Collaboration & Delivery
· Work closely with Product Managers, developers, QA, and UI/UX designers throughout the product lifecycle
· Communicate effectively across business and technical teams to ensure alignment at every stage
· Support backlog grooming by refining, prioritising, and closing out backlog items in collaboration with the team
Customer Engagement & Solution Sign-off
· Prepare the Business Solution Design (BSD) document in collaboration with technical and business teams, clearly outlining the proposed solution to meet customer requirements
· Present and walk customers through the Business Solution Design, ensuring full clarity and alignment
· Act as the primary point of contact between the internal team and the customer during the solution design and approval phase
· Proactively follow up with customers to address queries, incorporate feedback, and obtain formal sign-off on the Business Solution Design
UAT & Quality
· Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by creating test cases and coordinating with end users to validate the system meets agreed acceptance criteria
· Track and manage defects and change requests raised during UAT through to resolution
Documentation & Post-Implementation
· Maintain clear, accurate, and up-to-date documentation including BRDs, FRDs, process flows, and traceability matrices
· Ensure all site-specific design documentation is reviewed, approved, and formally handed over to the customer and internal/support teams
· Document as-built design details after product implementation at each customer site, capturing final configurations, customisations, and any deviations from the original design
· Collaborate with developers and on-site teams to accurately capture all technical and operational design details post-implementation
· Maintain a centralised repository of all site implementation documents for future reference, audits, and ongoing support
Support Handover & Training
· Prepare comprehensive support documentation and formally hand over to the support team post-implementation, equipping them with everything needed to effectively manage, troubleshoot, and maintain the system
· Collaborate closely with the support team to plan and conduct structured training sessions, walking them through system functionality, common issues, escalation paths, and operational processes
· Act as the primary knowledge transfer lead during the handover phase, ensuring the support team fully understands the system before taking ownership
· Validate the support team's readiness by conducting handover sign-off sessions and confirming all training and documentation gaps are closed before transitioning responsibility
Required Skills & Experience
· 2–4 years of experience as a Business Analyst in an IT or software product environment
· Strong requirement elicitation skills with the ability to convert findings into actionable workable items
· Proven experience producing BRDs, FRDs, process flows, and solution design documents
· Experience managing customer-facing deliverables including presentations, reviews, and formal sign-off processes
· Experience preparing and delivering support handover documentation and training to support teams
· Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across both business and technical audiences
· Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into recommendations
· Familiarity with SQL or data analysis tools is a plus
Nice to Have
· Experience in warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing domains
· Familiarity with WMS
· CBAP, CCBA, or equivalent BA certification

- This is a work-from-office role, and our office is located in Kakkanad, Kochi. We are looking for candidates based in Kochi or those who are willing to relocate to Kochi.
Pay: ₹700,000.00 - ₹720,000.00 per year
