About the Role
NXL Technologies is seeking a disciplined and performance-driven Digital Assets Trader (Crypto Futures) to actively trade the firm’s cryptocurrency capital across spot and perpetual futures markets.
This role is designed for experienced traders who combine deep technical expertise with disciplined execution and exceptional risk management. The selected candidate will be responsible for identifying high-probability trading opportunities, executing discretionary trades, preserving company capital, and consistently operating within predefined risk parameters.

Key ResponsibilitiesDiscretionary Trading & Execution
- Execute discretionary trades across crypto spot and perpetual futures markets
- Develop structured trade plans (entry, exit, stop-loss, take-profit, position sizing)
- Manage open positions while adapting to evolving market conditions
- Ensure efficient execution while minimizing slippage and unnecessary risk
Market Research & Analysis
- Perform advanced analysis using technical indicators, price action, and market structure
- Track liquidity, volatility, volume, and derivatives data
- Monitor macro trends, funding rates, open interest, liquidation levels, and sentiment
- Identify high-conviction opportunities while avoiding low-quality setups
Risk Management
- Operate strictly within defined daily, weekly, and monthly risk limits
- Apply disciplined position sizing and leverage control
- Maintain drawdown within firm-defined limits
- Ensure all trades comply with internal risk frameworks
- Escalate abnormal market risks or capital threats immediately
Performance Monitoring
- Maintain detailed trading journals (rationale, execution, emotional discipline)
- Prepare daily/weekly performance reports (P&L, ROI, exposure, risk metrics)
- Conduct self-reviews to improve trading consistency and decision-making
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve trading performance
- Share insights, trade ideas, and execution feedback
- Participate in strategy discussions and performance reviews
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of crypto market structure and futures trading
- Proven experience with perpetual futures and leveraged trading
- Expertise in technical analysis, price action, and liquidity concepts
- Deep knowledge of leverage, liquidation, funding rates, and volatility
- Strong risk management and capital preservation mindset
- Ability to make disciplined decisions under pressure
- High attention to detail and analytical thinking
- Strong documentation and reporting discipline
Technical Skills & Platforms
- Binance, Bybit, OKX, KuCoin
- TradingView, CoinGlass
- CoinMarketCap, CoinGecko
- Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets
Experience
- 1–3 years of hands-on experience in crypto futures trading
- Experience in discretionary trading
- Background in proprietary trading firms, crypto exchanges, or similar environments preferred
- Verifiable trading track record or journal is highly desirable
