Full job description

A Cyber Security Researcher is responsible for identifying, analyzing, and mitigating security threats across applications, networks, systems, and cloud environments. The role involves conducting in-depth security research, vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, threat intelligence analysis, and developing innovative solutions to strengthen organizational security posture.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct security research to identify emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and attack techniques.
Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on web applications, APIs, mobile applications, networks, and cloud infrastructure.
Analyze security incidents, malware samples, and exploit techniques to understand potential risks and attack vectors.
Develop proof-of-concept demonstrations to validate security findings and assess their impact.
Collaborate with development and engineering teams to provide remediation guidance and security best practices.
Monitor threat intelligence sources and evaluate new cybersecurity trends affecting organizational assets.
Design and develop security tools, scripts, and automation solutions to enhance research and testing activities.
Prepare comprehensive technical reports detailing findings, risk assessments, and recommended corrective actions.
Contribute to security awareness initiatives and support the continuous improvement of security controls and processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Minimum 2 years experience in cyber security researcher field.
Strong understanding of cyber security principles, network security, application security, and secure software development practices.
Hands-on experience with security assessment tools such as Burp Suite, Nmap, Wireshark, Metasploit, and related technologies.
Proficiency in programming and scripting languages such as Python, Java, C/C++, or Go.
Knowledge of web application vulnerabilities, including the OWASP Top 10 and common attack methodologies.
Familiarity with Linux and Windows operating systems, cloud security concepts, and security monitoring technologies.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and technical documentation skills.
Ability to conduct independent research and communicate complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Industry certifications such as OSCP, OSWE, CEH, Security+, CISSP, or equivalent.
Experience with threat intelligence, malware analysis, reverse engineering, bug bounty programs, or security research publications.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
