Job Summary
Aruna Promoters Pvt Ltd is seeking an experienced and dynamic HR Manager to oversee and manage the overall Human Resource functions of the organization. The role is a generalist HR profile with a strong focus on recruitment and manpower planning, particularly for technical and skilled manpower required in shipbuilding and ship refit projects.
The HR Manager will be responsible for workforce planning, recruitment of skilled and semi-skilled manpower, HR administration, statutory compliance, employee relations, and implementation of HR policies to ensure smooth operations of the shipyard and project sites. Candidates with prior experience in shipbuilding, heavy engineering, fabrication, or related industries will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment & Manpower Planning
- Lead end-to-end recruitment for technical, skilled, and managerial positions required for shipbuilding and refit projects.
- Plan manpower requirements in coordination with project, production, and operations teams.
- Develop effective sourcing strategies for welders, fabricators, fitters, supervisors, engineers, and other technical staff.
- Coordinate with manpower contractors and recruitment agencies for project-based workforce requirements.
- Maintain a strong database of skilled workers and technical professionals.
2. HR Generalist Functions
- Implement and monitor HR policies, procedures, and employee guidelines.
- Handle employee onboarding, documentation, confirmation, and exit formalities.
- Maintain employee records, HR MIS, and manpower reports.
- Support performance management and employee development initiatives.
3. Employee Relations & Welfare
- Maintain positive employee relations across staff, project workforce, and contract labour.
- Address employee grievances and workplace issues in a professional manner.
- Coordinate welfare initiatives for employees and migrant workers.
4. Statutory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with labour laws and statutory requirements applicable to shipyard operations.
- Monitor compliance related to contract labour, ESI, PF, and other labour regulations.
- Coordinate with government authorities and consultants when required.
5. HR Administration
- Supervise attendance, leave management, and manpower deployment.
- Coordinate with payroll teams for employee salary inputs and records.
- Support management in HR planning and workforce optimization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management / Business Administration / Social Work or related field.
- MBA / MSW in HR will be an added advantage.
Experience
- 8–15 years of HR experience, preferably in shipbuilding, heavy engineering, fabrication, construction, or manufacturing industries.
- Strong experience in recruitment of skilled technical manpower.

Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
