Job Description – Junior Software Intern

Position: Junior Software Intern
Location: Infopark, Kochi
Department: Software Development
Employment Type: Internship

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Software Intern to join our development team. The ideal candidate should have basic knowledge of UI/UX design principles, Python programming, and WebSocket-based communication. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in software development, real-time applications, and modern web technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in developing and maintaining web-based software applications.
Support UI/UX improvements for web and mobile applications.
Work with Python-based backend systems and APIs.
Implement and manage WebSocket communication for real-time data exchange.
Collaborate with developers and designers to create user-friendly interfaces.
Perform software testing, debugging, and troubleshooting.
Participate in project discussions, code reviews, and development activities.
Maintain proper documentation for development tasks and modules.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Basic knowledge of Python programming.
Understanding of UI/UX concepts and responsive web design.
Familiarity with WebSocket technology and real-time communication.
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frontend frameworks is an added advantage.
Understanding of REST APIs and database concepts.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
Strong communication and learning attitude.

Preferred Qualifications

Pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related field.
Exposure to frameworks such as Django, Flask, React, or Node.js is a plus.
Basic understanding of Git/version control systems.
