Full job description

We are looking for an energetic and detail-oriented Purchase Executive to join our procurement team. In this role, you will learn the ropes of the supply chain by assisting with vendor communications, raising purchase orders, and tracking shipments. This is an ideal stepping stone to build a career in supply chain, inventory, and vendor management.

Key Responsibilities

Order Processing: Collate purchase requisitions, generate, and process accurate Purchase Orders (POs) in the company database.
Vendor Communication: Coordinate with existing suppliers to confirm order statuses, delivery dates, and resolve minor discrepancies.
Inventory Tracking: Monitor stock levels on a daily/weekly basis and alert the team when supplies run low.
Quality & Delivery Checks: Track inbound shipments to ensure they arrive on time and match the quality standards required.
Record Keeping: Maintain organized, up-to-date physical and digital files of invoices, receipts, and vendor contracts.
Market Assistance: Assist senior buyers in gathering vendor quotations and conducting basic market price comparisons.

Requirements & Skills

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Commerce, or a related field.
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for daily interaction with vendors and internal departments.
Analytical Abilities: Basic mathematical and problem-solving skills to verify invoices and track costs.
Organization: High attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
