Job Description – Multicuisine Cook

Position: Multicuisine Cook
Department: Kitchen
Reports To: Head Chef / Executive Chef
Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Multicuisine Cook who can prepare a variety of Indian, Chinese, Continental, and other cuisines while maintaining high standards of taste, hygiene, presentation, and food safety.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and cook dishes according to standard recipes and quality requirements.
Handle Indian, Chinese, Continental, and other multicuisine preparations.
Perform food preparation, cutting, marinating, cooking, and plating.
Maintain consistency in taste, portion size, and presentation.
Ensure proper storage and handling of food ingredients.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen and cooking equipment.
Monitor stock levels and inform the chef about ingredient requirements.
Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety standards.
Minimize food wastage and maintain proper portion control.
Assist the kitchen team during busy service periods.
Maintain proper coordination with the Head Chef and other kitchen staff.

Requirements

Minimum 2–5 years of experience as a Multicuisine Cook or similar role.
Good knowledge of Indian, Chinese, and Continental cuisines.
Ability to work independently and as part of a kitchen team.
Knowledge of food hygiene and safety practices.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
