Job Description:

Role: Assistant Manager -Accounts & Finance

Key Responsibilities & Tasks:

GST Return Filing & Compliance

Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, GSTR-9C, etc).
Handle GST audits and respond to notices or queries from the GST department.
Ensure timely payment of GST and maintenance of proper GST records and ledgers.
Stay updated with changes in GST rules and ensure compliance accordingly.

Statutory & Tax Compliance

Ensure timely compliance with TDS, Income Tax, PF/ESI, and other statutory dues.
Filing of TDS returns (Form 24Q, 26Q, etc.) and generation of Form 16/16A.

Financial Accounting & Reporting

Maintain and oversee day-to-day accounting functions, including ledger postings, journal entries, and bank reconciliations.
Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.

Audit & Internal Controls

Support internal and statutory audits by providing required documentation and explanations.
Regularly review and improve financial processes and policies.

Other Accounting Duties

Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
Maintain proper documentation and filing of all accounting records.

Skills:

Min 5-6 years of experience in related field.
Must have good knowledge of Zoho Books, GST, TDS, ESIC.
Ability to meet communicated schedules and deadlines.
Knowledge of MS Office.
Experience with creating financial statements
Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process.

Qualification - B.com/M.com.

Role: Senior Consultant – Accounts & Finance.
