Receptionist / Admin – Front Office

Job Type: Full-time

Job Summary

We are looking for a Receptionist / Admin to manage the front office and provide efficient administrative support. The candidate will be responsible for welcoming visitors, handling calls and enquiries, maintaining records, preparing bills, collecting payments, and assisting with basic accounting and day-to-day office administration.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the front office and reception area in a professional and organized manner.
Welcome and assist visitors, customers, students, parents, staff, and other guests.
Handle incoming calls, enquiries, messages, and correspondence.
Maintain accurate front-office records, registers, files, and documentation.
Prepare and issue bills, invoices, receipts, and payment records.
Handle cash, card, UPI, and other payment collections as applicable.
Maintain daily billing and collection records and ensure proper reconciliation.
Handle basic accounts and bookkeeping, including recording income, expenses, payments, and receipts.
Assist in maintaining accounts-related documents and reports for management.
Follow up on pending payments and maintain payment/fee collection records.
Coordinate with the accounts department or management regarding financial transactions and discrepancies.
Perform general administrative and clerical duties as required.
Maintain office supplies and coordinate routine administrative requirements.
Ensure confidentiality and proper handling of office and financial information.
Provide support for other administrative activities and responsibilities assigned by management.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Executive, Admin Assistant, or similar role preferred.
Basic knowledge of billing, cash handling, and accounts.
Familiarity with MS Office, Excel, tally, billing software, or accounting software will be an advantage.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and record-keeping abilities.
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Honest, responsible, punctual, and customer-friendly.
Basic knowledge of English and local language preferred.
