Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Mivan / Aluminium Formwork Foreman with strong expertise in high-rise building construction. The candidate must have hands-on experience in complete aluminium formwork (Mivan) system execution including layout, alignment, assembly, stripping, and quality control of slab, shear wall, column, and core wall systems.
The role requires strong site leadership, technical understanding of structural drawings, and the ability to manage large shuttering crews while ensuring safety, quality, and cycle time targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise complete aluminium formwork (Mivan) activities for high-rise buildings
- Interpret structural drawings, formwork layout drawings, and sequencing plans
- Plan daily and weekly cycle targets for slab casting
- Ensure proper alignment, verticality, and level control using survey instruments
- Oversee installation of wall panels, slab panels, beams, staircases, and core walls
- Ensure proper fixing of pins, wedges, wall ties, kickers, and supports
- Monitor dimensional accuracy and finishing quality before concreting
- Coordinate with civil engineers, QA/QC team, and concreting team
- Ensure safe stripping sequence and material handling without damage
- Maintain formwork material inventory and reduce wastage
- Achieve targeted slab cycle time (typically 5–7 day cycle)
- Enforce site safety compliance and toolbox talks
Required Qualifications & Skills
- 10–15 years of experience in aluminium/Mivan formwork in high-rise projects
- Strong knowledge of high-rise structural systems (shear walls, core walls, PT slabs preferred)
- Ability to read and interpret structural & shuttering drawings
- Experience handling large shuttering gangs (50+ workers preferred)
- Good understanding of level instruments (Auto level / Total station basics)
- Strong problem-solving skills for site adjustments
- Knowledge of safety standards in high-rise construction
- Diploma/ITI (Civil) preferred but not mandatory
