EXPORT MANAGER

Job Summary
To lead and manage international business development, export sales, customer relationships, and export operations for Ramanand Exports, ensuring sustainable revenue growth, successful order execution, customer satisfaction, regulatory compliance, and expansion into global markets.
The Export Manager will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, acquiring international buyers, managing export transactions, and strengthening Ramanand Exports' position as a trusted supplier of spices and agricultural commodities worldwide.
Key ResponsibilitiesInternational Business Development
- Identify, qualify, and develop new international importers, distributors, wholesalers, food manufacturers, and private-label customers.
- Generate export opportunities through market research, trade databases, trade fairs, LinkedIn, customs records, and industry networks.
- Develop and execute country-specific market entry strategies.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified international buyers.
- Conduct outbound sales activities including emails, calls, virtual meetings, and customer visits.
Export Sales Management
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual export sales targets.
- Prepare quotations, commercial proposals, pricing structures, and product presentations.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and commercial agreements.
- Convert inquiries, samples, and trial shipments into long-term business relationships.
- Monitor sales performance and maintain accurate sales forecasts.
Customer & Account Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for international customers.
- Manage relationships with key importers, distributors, and strategic accounts.
- Address customer concerns related to product quality, shipments, documentation, and service.
- Conduct regular business reviews with customers to identify growth opportunities.
- Ensure high customer retention and repeat business.
Export Operations & Documentation
- Supervise export order execution from order confirmation to final delivery.
- Coordinate with logistics providers, freight forwarders, customs agents, shipping lines, and inspection agencies.
- Ensure accurate preparation and review of:
- Commercial Invoices
- Packing Lists
- Certificates of Origin
- Phytosanitary Certificates
- Fumigation Certificates
- Bills of Lading
- COA and Laboratory Reports
- Export Compliance Documents
- Ensure compliance with destination-country import requirements and export regulations.
Vendor & Supply Chain Coordination
- Coordinate with procurement, production, quality assurance, packaging, and logistics teams.
- Monitor shipment schedules and ensure timely dispatches.
- Work closely with suppliers and service providers to maintain operational efficiency.
- Support inventory planning and order fulfillment activities.
Quality & Compliance Management
- Ensure compliance with export regulations, food safety standards, and customer specifications.
- Support audits, certifications, and quality assurance programs.
- Monitor documentation accuracy and regulatory requirements.
- Minimize shipment risks and ensure adherence to company procedures.
Process Improvement & Reporting
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and customer service.
- Maintain CRM records, customer databases, and sales reports.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare management reports.
- Support digitalization and automation initiatives within export operations.
Market Intelligence
- Monitor international spice and agricultural commodity markets.
- Track competitor activities, pricing trends, and sourcing patterns.
- Identify emerging markets and product opportunities.
- Provide market insights and recommendations to management.
Qualifications & ExperienceRequired
- Bachelor's Degree in International Business, Commerce, Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Minimum 5–10 years of experience in export sales, international business development, or export management.

Preferred
- MBA in International Business, Marketing, or Supply Chain Management.
- Existing network of international importers and distributors.
- Experience handling exports to USA, Europe, Middle East, Southeast Asia, Australia, and Africa.
