Full job description

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Welder with hands-on experience in TIG (GTAW) and ARC (SMAW) welding processes. The candidate should be capable of reading engineering drawings, producing high-quality welds, and following all safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Perform TIG and ARC welding on MS, SS, and other metal components.
Read and interpret engineering drawings and welding symbols.
Prepare materials, clean joints, and set up welding equipment.
Inspect completed welds for quality, strength, and appearance.
Repair defective welds and perform grinding/finishing as required.
Ensure compliance with welding procedures and quality standards.
Maintain welding machines and tools in good working condition.
Follow PPE requirements and all factory safety regulations.
Coordinate with Production and Quality teams to meet production targets.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Required Skills

Good knowledge of TIG (GTAW) and ARC (SMAW) welding.
Ability to weld mild steel and stainless steel.
Knowledge of welding electrodes, filler rods, and shielding gases.
Ability to read fabrication drawings.
Familiarity with measuring instruments such as measuring tape, vernier caliper, and angle gauge.
Good understanding of welding defects and corrective actions.
Strong attention to quality and safety.

Qualification

ITI Welder / Diploma in Welding or equivalent.
Welding certification will be an added advantage.

Experience

1–5 years of experience in TIG and ARC welding.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
