Experience & Role-wise Expectations1. Fresher (0–1 Year)
Applicable Role: VMC Operator (Trainee / Junior)
Responsibilities:
- Assist in machine operation under supervision
- Loading & unloading of components
- Basic dimensional checking using vernier, micrometer, gauges
- Follow SOPs, safety rules, and housekeeping standards
Eligibility:
- ITI (Fitter / Machinist / Turner) or relevant trade
- Willingness to learn and work in rotational shifts
Salary:
- 8 hrs: ₹12,000 – ₹14,000
- 12 hrs: ₹18,000 – ₹20,000
2. Experienced (1–3 Years)
Applicable Roles: VMC Operator / Setter
Responsibilities:
- Independent operation of VMC machines
- Tool offset setting and minor program edits
- Fixture and job setting support
- First-piece inspection and in-process quality checks
- Basic troubleshooting during production
Eligibility:
- ITI / Diploma with relevant VMC experience
- Good understanding of drawings and machining processes
Salary:
- 8 hrs: ₹14,000 – ₹18,000
- 12 hrs: ₹20,000 – ₹24,000
3. Senior / Highly Skilled (5+ Years)
Applicable Roles: VMC Setter / Programmer
Responsibilities:
- Complete machine setting including fixtures & tooling
- CNC program preparation, modification, and optimization
- New part development and cycle time improvement
- Handling complex components with tight tolerances
- Technical support to operators and production team
Eligibility:
- Strong hands-on VMC experience
- Expertise in CNC programming (G/M codes)
- Proven problem-solving and productivity improvement skills
Salary:
- 8 hrs: ₹16,000 – ₹18,000+
- 12 hrs: ₹24,000 – ₹26,000+
- Negotiable for deserving candidates
