Job Overview

Apollo Hospitals Jabalpur is hiring dedicated and skilled Staff Nurses to provide comprehensive patient care across various specialty departments, including General Ward, ICU, Oncology, and Emergency Room (ER). The selected candidates will play a critical role in patient management, treatment administration, and clinical support, ensuring high-quality healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities

General Ward Nurse Responsibilities:

Provide routine patient care, including monitoring vitals and administering medications.
Assist in wound care, IV therapy, catheterization, and other bedside procedures.
Educate patients and families about post-discharge care and health management.
Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and infection control standards.

ICU Nurse Responsibilities:

Monitor critically ill patients and manage life-supporting medical equipment.
Administer medications, intravenous therapy, and oxygen support.
Work closely with doctors, anesthetists, and respiratory therapists for timely interventions.
Handle emergency resuscitations (BLS & ACLS certified preferred).

Oncology Nurse Responsibilities:

Provide specialized care to cancer patients, including chemotherapy administration.
Educate patients on treatment side effects, pain management, and nutritional support.
Ensure safe handling of chemotherapy drugs and maintain proper protocols.
Offer emotional and psychological support to oncology patients and their families.

Emergency Room (ER) Nurse Responsibilities:

Provide immediate care for trauma, cardiac, and medical emergencies.
Perform triage assessment to prioritize critical cases.
Assist in emergency procedures such as intubation, CPR, and wound suturing.
Coordinate with emergency response teams and ambulance services for patient transfers.

Required Skills & Qualifications

GNM / B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized institution.
Registered with the Madhya Pradesh Nursing Council.
Strong clinical knowledge of nursing procedures, emergency care, and ICU protocols.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills for patient-centered care.
Ability to handle high-pressure situations with quick decision-making.
Knowledge of infection control, patient safety, and hospital accreditation standards (NABH, JCI).
Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) and hospital management systems.
