Job Description
Responsibilities: - Supervise day-to-day reinsurance operations, including Facultative open registration clearance and ceded premium registrations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. - Oversee reinsurance contract setup, ensuring adequate risk transfer, correct interpretation of terms/conditions, and accurate system entry. - Guide the team in analyzing reinsurance structures, validating limits, and resolving discrepancies in contract documentation. - Act as a point of contact for brokers, reinsurers, and underwriters, facilitating smooth information exchange and issue resolution. - Ensure compliance with internal policies, client requirements, and regulatory standards in all operational activities. - Monitor team performance against defined KP Is and provide coaching, feedback, and support to drive continuous improvement. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams (data, underwriting, finance, compliance) to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency. - Identify and escalate risks, gaps, or process challenges to leadership while contributing to solutions and process enhancements.
