About the Role
We are a well-established Electrical & Mechanical contractor working on prestigious Government projects including BARC (Bhabha Atomic Research Centre) and MCGM (Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai). We are looking for a dedicated Supervisor / Site Engineer who is serious about stable, long-term employment and can handle the responsibilities of high-standard Govt. site work.
This is NOT a routine private-sector job. Our sites have strict protocols, high precision standards, and require disciplined, detail-oriented professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise electrical / mechanical work at BARC, MCGM and other Govt. project sites
- Ensure all work meets Govt. specifications and quality standards
- Coordinate with site engineers, Govt. officials, and labour workforce
- Maintain site diaries, measurement books, and daily progress reports
- Ensure compliance with safety rules, site entry procedures, and security protocols
- Manage materials, tools, and manpower at site
- Attend site meetings and report to proprietor/management regularly
Required Qualifications & Experience
- ITI (Electrician / Fitter/ mechanical ) + Minimum 3 years site experience, OR
- Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering + Minimum 2 years site experience
- Prior experience on Govt., BARC, PSU, MIDC, PWD, CPWD, hospital, or municipal sites STRONGLY PREFERRED
- Knowledge of Govt. tender documentation, measurement books, and site reporting
- Ability to handle security clearance procedures and site discipline
