Educational Qualification
- B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering / Computer Engineering from a recognized institution.
- M.E./M.Tech in Computer Science / Computer Engineering will be preferred.
- Candidates must fulfill the applicable AICTE/MSBTE norms for the position.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver effective lectures and practical sessions for Diploma students.
- Prepare lesson plans, lecture materials, practical assignments, question papers, and study materials.
- Teach subjects related to Programming, Data Structures, Database Management, Computer Networks, Operating Systems, Web Development, Software Engineering, and emerging technologies, as assigned.
- Conduct practical sessions and guide students in laboratory activities.
- Evaluate student performance through internal assessments, practical examinations, assignments, and class tests.
- Maintain academic records, attendance, internal marks, lesson plans, and other departmental documentation.
- Mentor students and provide academic and career guidance.
- Encourage students to participate in technical events, project competitions, hackathons, seminars, workshops, and industry-oriented activities.
- Guide students in mini-projects, major projects, and practical assignments.
- Assist in organizing technical events, guest lectures, industrial visits, and training programs.
- Coordinate with the HOD and other faculty members for academic planning and departmental activities.
- Maintain and ensure proper utilization of computer laboratories and equipment.
- Participate in departmental meetings and institutional activities.
- Stay updated with current developments in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Cloud Computing, Cybersecurity, and other emerging technologies.
- Perform other academic and administrative duties assigned by the HOD/Principal.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals.
- Good programming and practical laboratory skills.
- Proficiency in languages/tools such as C, C++, Java, Python, SQL, HTML/CSS/JavaScript, as applicable.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to explain technical concepts in a simple and practical manner.
- Strong classroom management and student mentoring skills.
- Good documentation and computer skills.
- Passion for teaching and developing students' technical skills.
Experience
Freshers and experienced candidates may apply.
Teaching experience in a Diploma/Polytechnic institution will be an added advantage.
The ideal candidate should be technically proficient, student-focused, enthusiastic about teaching, and capable of delivering both theoretical and practical education effectively.
