3. PURPOSE OF THE JOB
- The Milk Operations & Distribution Manager is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end operations of a milk processing plant, including milk arrivals from in-house farms, processing, quality control, storage, and distribution. The role ensures efficient plant performance, compliance with food safety standards (FSSAI), and timely delivery of products. To manage & supervise the entire supply chain of milk and milk products.
4. KEY RESULT AREAS
- To Manage Processing, Sale, Inventory and Distribution of milk i.e. bulk, charity, retail, counter sale, etc.
- FSSAI & other Compliances & proper implementation of Rules & Procedures.
- Monitoring Door delivery, Vehicle planning, operations, maintenance and cost
- On-Time deliveries as Scheduled
- Hygiene & Sanitation: Enforcing rigorous Clean-in-Place (CIP) protocols and plant hygiene to prevent contamination
- SOP preparation for milk and related products
- Overseeing preventive maintenance and Predictive Maintenance to reduce unplanned downtime and repair costs.
5. Principal Task and Responsibilities
- · Milk Pasteurization & Pouching
- ·Processing to make Cream, Skimmed Milk, Curd, Butter, Ghee & other value-added products
- Responsible for entire manufacturing process of milk and milk products i.e stock planning for production as per demand and seasonal trends, maintain all temperatures, physical, chemical and microbial parameters at all levels as per FSSAI rules and regulations.
- Look after Customer relation including Order & Delivery Management, Identify root cause of all types of customers complains and take appropriately corrective actions.
- Complaints, Payments, Sales growth, Information & Publicity
- Guarantee continuous temperature control (0°C–4°C) throughout the distribution network to eliminate spoilage
- Maintain timely and proper milk-related logbooks and records as per Fssai & other compliances.
- Ensure that all RM/PM/Inprocees / FG is timely sampled by QC team and results of testing are compiled to FSSAI.
- Get Internal & External Audits done under Fssai, and assure timely renewals of related licenses & permissions.
- Maintain and manage delivery boys, & their routes & schedules
- Design and refine delivery routes using GPS and telematics to reduce fuel consumption and ensure on-time delivery.
- To maintain record and verify milk returned from the milk delivery boys.
- To receive, verify and keep records of daily cash or equivalent receipts for cash sales by delivery boys &/or otherwise
- Supervise raw milk testing to ensure only high-quality inputs enter the production line.
- Assure the pasteurization unit, Chillers, cold room, pouching & other machinery for proper functioning & maintenance.
- To maintain stock of extra spares & consumables like milk bags, acids, etc.
- Oversee servicing & maintenance of the whole plant, equipment & premises with the help of competent service providers.
- Maintaining minimum inventory level for ordering all inputs consumables & repairable parts
- To maintain and supervise how hygiene is maintained in the pouching unit as per regulatory standards (FSSAI, ISO, HACCP)
- To supervise and maintain the timely delivery of milk distribution also as per Rekart orders
- To keep a macro control & check on Rekart delivery App
- To maintain and check all vehicles, its servicing etc. and keep them in running condition
- To take and carry out daily milk lab tests and maintain the reports
- Cold room stock to be maintained on daily bases as per requirement.
- Provide daily milk distribution and stock records to accounts department
- To train extra delivery boys as standby for every route.
- To check, tally, reconcile all stock sales, realization outstanding, etc.
- To maintain all records and files and to store old records and keep them systematically
- Oversee regular maintenance and operation of the ETP (Effluent Treatment Plant)
- Ensure timely pest control activities across the plant premises.
- Monitor and ensure proper cleaning and hygiene of milk cans, crates, etc.
- Manage the procurement and ordering of milk-related logbooks and records.
- Initiate & Carry out continuous improvement in technology, processes, practices, human skills, compliances, product quality and value and trust.
- Design, develop and maintain HACCP as per the FSMS consultant guidelines and report the compliance statement. Through in 7 principles of HACCP.
- Follow the guide lines given by FSMS consultant.
- Responsible to comply all legal requirements of FSSAI and all adequate support will be provided by trustee to you
6. PERSON Details
- Age : 30 -40 years preferable
- Qualifications: B tech in dairy technology, BSc, Msc (Chemistry, Microbiologist, Bio technology)
- Experience : Minimum of 8+ years of experience in milk operations and milk distribution management
7. Skills
- Proficiency in ERP systems, Microsoft Excel & Route Navigation software.
- Knowledge of Fssai & other related government laws.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
- The ability to make decisions in stressful environments.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills. (Verbal & Email)
- Knowledge of Dairy software, if any.
- English & Marathi and good writing.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
