Full job description

Key Responsibilities:Clinical Care:

Conduct thorough physical exams and diagnostic evaluations for newborns, infants, children, and adolescents.
Provide specialized care for premature and ill newborns, including management in the NICU.
Perform resuscitation and stabilization of newborns at birth.
Lead the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) team in managing complex and critical cases.
Prescribe and interpret diagnostic tests and manage treatment plans.
Provide inpatient and outpatient care for pediatric patients.
Guide and support families regarding medical conditions, treatment, and long-term care needs.

Administrative & Supervisory Duties:

Lead and supervise pediatric and NICU staff, including junior doctors, nurses, and technicians.
Collaborate with other consultants and departments to ensure comprehensive care.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and infection control programs.
Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and clinical guidelines.
Assist in policy-making, planning, and development of pediatric services.

Training & Development:

Conduct training and educational sessions for nursing and junior medical staff.
Participate in continuous medical education (CME) and stay updated with the latest advancements.
Mentor junior pediatricians and postgraduates (if applicable).

Documentation & Reporting:

Maintain accurate and updated medical records.
Prepare discharge summaries and reports as required.
Contribute to clinical audits and research initiatives, if any.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹200,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
