We are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Remote Sensing Expert to join our growing geospatial team and contribute to cutting-edge Earth Observation and spatial analytics projects.
Key ResponsibilitiesRemote Sensing & Earth Observation
- Process, analyze, and interpret satellite and aerial imagery from multiple sensors and platforms.
- Develop methodologies for Land Use/Land Cover (LULC) mapping, change detection, vegetation analysis, environmental monitoring, and natural resource assessment.
- Perform image preprocessing activities including radiometric correction, atmospheric correction, orthorectification, mosaicking, and classification.
- Generate geospatial products and thematic maps using multi-source Earth Observation datasets.
- Work with optical, multispectral, hyperspectral, and SAR datasets for various applications.
GIS & Spatial Analytics
- Conduct advanced spatial analysis and geospatial modeling.
- Develop geospatial databases and workflows for large-scale environmental, infrastructure, and resource management projects.
- Perform terrain analysis using Digital Elevation Models (DEM), Digital Surface Models (DSM), and LiDAR-derived datasets.
- Support development of geospatial decision support systems and web-based GIS applications.
Cloud-Based Geospatial Analytics
- Develop and deploy Earth Observation workflows using Google Earth Engine (GEE).
- Process and analyze large-scale satellite datasets using cloud computing platforms.
- Automate image processing, classification, and monitoring workflows using GEE and Python.
- Develop scalable solutions for near real-time geospatial analytics and monitoring.
Automation & GeoAI
- Develop automated geospatial workflows using Python and geospatial libraries.
- Apply Machine Learning and AI techniques for image classification, feature extraction, object detection, and predictive analytics.
- Support development of GeoAI solutions and advanced spatial intelligence products.
Project Execution & Collaboration
- Prepare technical reports, methodologies, project deliverables, and presentations.
- Collaborate with GIS analysts, software developers, environmental scientists, hydrologists, and domain experts.
- Support proposal preparation, technical documentation, and research publications where required.
- Ensure timely delivery of project outputs while maintaining quality standards.
Required QualificationsEducation
- Master's Degree in Geo-informatics, Remote Sensing, GIS, Geospatial Sciences, Environmental Sciences, Geography, or related disciplines.
- PhD in Remote Sensing, Earth Observation, Geo-informatics, or related field will be an added advantage.
Experience
- 4–5 years of professional experience in Remote Sensing, GIS, and Earth Observation projects.
- Proven experience in satellite image analysis and geospatial data processing.
