KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ linguistic, physical, cognitive, and functional abilities to develop individualized treatment plans.
- Administer therapeutic interventions and modalities to improve patients’ speech, language skills, and swallowing.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and others, to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care.
- Design and implement specialized rehabilitation programs for patients with neurological conditions.
- Provide pediatric therapy for different child communication disorders.
- Provide dysphagia assessment and management for different populations.
- Educate patients, caregivers, and families on home training.
- Monitor patients’ progress, conduct periodic evaluations, and modify treatment plans accordingly to optimize outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
