Full job description

We are looking for qualified and compassionate Staff Nurses to join our hospital team in the Emergency Room (ER), Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), and General Ward. The candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, monitoring patients, assisting doctors, administering medications, and maintaining accurate medical records.

Key Responsibilities Common Responsibilities

Assess and monitor patients' health conditions and vital signs.
Administer medications, injections, IV fluids, and treatments as prescribed by doctors.
Maintain accurate patient records, nursing notes, and documentation.
Assist doctors during patient examinations and medical procedures.
Ensure proper infection control and patient safety practices.
Communicate effectively with doctors, patients, and their families.
Respond promptly to patient needs and emergencies.
Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and proper functioning of nursing equipment.
Follow hospital policies, protocols, and nursing standards.

Department-Specific ResponsibilitiesER / Emergency Room Nurse

Provide immediate nursing care to patients in emergency and critical situations.
Perform rapid patient assessment and prioritize care based on the severity of the condition.
Assist doctors during emergency procedures and resuscitation.
Handle trauma, accident, cardiac, medical, and other emergency cases.
Prepare and manage emergency equipment and supplies.

ICU Nurse

Provide specialized nursing care to critically ill patients.
Continuously monitor vital signs and patient conditions.
Handle ICU equipment such as monitors, ventilators, infusion pumps, and other critical care equipment.
Assist doctors during critical procedures.
Identify and report any changes in the patient's condition immediately.

NICU Nurse

Provide specialized nursing care to newborns and critically ill neonates.
Monitor vital signs, feeding, growth, and overall condition of newborns.
Assist doctors with neonatal procedures and treatments.
Handle NICU equipment such as incubators, warmers, monitors, and ventilators.
Educate and support parents regarding newborn care when required.

General Ward Nurse

Provide routine nursing care to admitted patients.
Monitor patient conditions and report changes to doctors.
Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
Assist patients with daily care, mobility, hygiene, and other requirements.
Coordinate with doctors and other departments for patient care and investigations.
Ensure proper patient handover during shift changes.

Qualifications:

GNM / B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized institution.
Valid registration with the State Nursing Council / Indian Nursing Council, as applicable.
Experience in ER, ICU, NICU, or General Ward will be preferred.
Freshers with relevant qualifications may also be considered.

Required Skills

Strong clinical and patient care skills.
Knowledge of emergency and critical care procedures.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in rotational shifts, including night shifts.
Compassionate, responsible, and team-oriented approach.

Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹42,056.07 per month
